Thanks for your interest in our Sweet Dreams study!

Short sleep duration and poor sleep quality are associated with high blood pressure, diabetes and depression, as well as poorer quality of life. The purpose of this study is to learn about how women of color fit sleep into their busy lives and balance getting good sleep with other healthy behaviors and demands in their lives. We’re also interested in understanding the impact of sleep on risk factors for cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

Results from this study will be used to develop a new intervention to improve sleep health for women.
